South Ayrshire Council has issued a warning to residents over the dangers of bungee cords and ties wrapped around bins.
The local authority is asking for the items to be removed due to the dangers they can cause waste collection crews.
A spokesperson said: "Bungee cords and ties around bins pose a real danger to our waste management crew operatives.
"To protect our employee's safety, we ask you to please remove any of these items from your bin before you put it out for collection."
