A popular Ayr bakery is for sale - and aspiring bakers are being urged to get in touch.

Wild Dough, in the town's Newmarket Street, is now up for sale after the owner decided to hang up their apron and pass on their beloved shop to someone who shares the same passion for baking.

The sale of the eight-year-old bakery will include all equipment and furnishing, branding release, a fully functioning website and online shop as well as commercial contacts and customer list.

Owner Diana Parusheva said: "The 'Wild Dough' loaf has earned the reputation as 'The best bread in the west of Scotland' and with a few prestigious awards under its belt, I am more than proud of what my amazing team and I have achieved in the past few years.

"As I now prepare to embark on a new adventure away from Ayr, I am excited to find someone who can take on my legacy and make it their own success."
