Ayr Music Club's event series are set to continue next weekend.

Romanian concert pianist, George Todică, is giving a recital in Ayr on Saturday, October 14 as part of Ayr Music Club’s ‘Music in Ayr’ series. 

The concert takes place at 7.30pm in Holy Trinity Church, Fullarton Street, KA7 1UB.

George has degrees from both the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (2017) and the Royal College of Music (2019).

He has won many classical music competitions and has performed widely across the UK as well as Europe, with his Wigmore Hall debut in October 2018.

George’s repertoire is wide and varied, spanning pre-classical to 21st Century and his playing has been described as ‘heartfelt, spacious, punctuated by moments of genuine rapture’.

Tickets can be bought on the evening at the church, price £15 per person – and as usual there is no charge for Ayr Music Club members, students and children.

There will be the usual interval with coffee and tea available to concert goers.
