To undertake the investigations a closure of the A77 southbound carriageway between the Holmston and Bankfield Roundabouts will be required, with a signed diversion route in operation.
Traffic intending to travel on the A77 southbound will be diverted via the third exit at Holmston Roundabout to join the A70, Holmston Road.
From here, traffic will turn left on the A713, Castlehill Road and will be able to re-join the A77 at Bankfield Roundabout.
