The start times for this year's Ayr Festival of Flight have been announced.

The show is all set to take off from September 8 until September 10 and is sure to bring visitors to the area.

The flying display programme will begin at 7pm on the Friday and is scheduled to last until 9.15pm.

Friday’s display includes the RAF Black Jack Typhoon, the operational-proven, multi-role fighter, which is capable of flying at supersonic speed, as well Airborne Pyrotechnics lighting up the skies with their impressive LED lights and pyrotechnics display.  

On Saturday, September 8 the day will begin at around 1.15pm.

An interactive creative zone; classic car display; military village; extreme sports display; fun fair; art display from Tragic O’Hara; Just Dive Scuba Experience; a free cinema showing classic aviation films and documentaries are just some of the activities and entertainment also on offer over the weekend.

There will also be atmospheric live music from Drums n’ Roses who will infuse the festival air with high energy beats.
