A popular South Ayrshire restaurant has announced it will now allow dogs into its premises.
The Wheatsheaf Inn in Symington has a new dedicated area to make the restaurant dog-friendly.
It's something that the restaurant says customers have been asking about for a while.
Now it's come to life and there will be a specific area of the restaurant set up for furry friends.
For the moment, dogs will be allowed in until lunchtime from Monday to Thursday, with dogs being allowed to stay until 5pm on Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
Dogs are welcome in the garden anytime, as per opening hours.
There will also be a consideration of adding a doggy menu in the future.
The restaurant says it "cannot wait to meet your fur babies".
