A FLIGHT from Ayrshire's Prestwick Airport raised one reader's eyebrows late this afternoon.
It was British Airways aircraft BAW1 which confused reader Charles MacLean - who questioned the pilot's intentions when he viewed their flight path.
As the BA plane took to the air, they spent over an hour in skies to produce the 'unique' flight path.
As he sent a screengrab of flight path to us, Mr MacLean asked "what is Aircraft BAW1 planning to draw?".
While this reporter will not be answering that question - they are glad the pilot opted not to circle around Annbank and Coylton on their way back to Prestwick.
The ironically named flight appears to have been a routine training/testing excercise from the airport, which the plane took off from shoortly before 3.30pm.
The Airbus A320-232 then landed around an hour and 15 minutes later.
It was the third time today, Monday August 14, that the plane had completed loops around the Ayrshire sky.
However, it was the first time that the pilot choose this exact route - we can only wonder if it was intentional.
