An re-homing charity is hosting a fun dog show in Ayrshire this September.

Saving and Rehoming Strays (SRS) is a small charity based in Scotland with a mission to rescue and rehome dogs in the UK.

The group work tirelessly to make sure that every dog has a loving home.

This September, SRS will be hosting their very own show, where all Ayrshire dogs and their owners are invited along to join in the fun.

Fun dog shows will on throughout the afternoon, and there will even be a chance to meet SRS's ambassador dog, Stella.

They said: "Stella was rescued after being hit by a car as a puppy resulting in her being paralysed.

"But she does not let it stop her. She is such a happy girl and loves everyone she meets.

"Because Stella is doubly incontinent it is unlikely she will ever be adopted so she has become one of our AmbassorDOGs, spreading the word about our rescue and the wonderful dogs we support.

"Please pop along and say hello!"

There will even be special doggy classes to take part in.

The Big Wag will take place on September at Harperland Dog Run, Kilmarnock between 12pm and 4pm.

Tickets will be available to buy on the door from £5.
