A 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault and disturbance on a bus in Prestwick, according to police.
The incident happened around 10pm on Friday, July 14 at The Cross in Prestwick.
A 35-year-old man was assaulted during the incident.
A police spokesperson said: "The male was due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday, July 17.
"Further enquiries remain ongoing."
