A DAY of family fun is coming to Ayr later this month - and it's completely free for all.

Wallacetown Family Fun Day will be held on Saturday July 29 from 12-3pm - and it's completely free for all the family.

The Wallacetown Family Fun Day will feature live music and entertainment, with performances on stage by local talent including Scott Nicol, Emily Best, Debbie Bryden and the one and only All Warriors Gym, Ayr.

Compere Ryan Hassan will be entertaining the crowd throughout the day.

And there will be plenty for the wee ones to enjoy, including inflatables, a silent disco, alpacas, face painting, Book Bugs, Beat the Goalie, arts and crafts, 'old skool' sports day games, a football target game, and plenty of stalls.

There will also be fire engines, police vehicles and a bin lorry to explore.

And there will, of course, be plenty of food and drinks available throughout the event, which runs on Saturday, July 29 from 12noon until 3pm.

A spokesperson for the organisers said: "Thanks to the Gaiety Theatre for providing the stage for the event."
