TOP golfers from across Ayrshire have scooped a host of top prizes at the annual Ayr Golf Festival.

More than 500 people took part in the prestigious competition, which was held at the Belleisle and Seafield courses in Ayr from Wednesday, June 7 until Sunday, June 11.

Nine competitions were held, including the showcase Tam o' Shanter and Handyside Tournament, where participants battled it out for a prize fund of £5,000.

The exciting tournament also saw astableford competition, an open mixed foursomes, a ladies' tri-am, and a ladies' open greensomes.

This year’s winners are:

  • Tam o’ Shanter Trophy: Craig Robertson, Turnberry Golf Club (294)
  • Handyside Cup: Ricky Tait, Minto Golf Club (281)
  • Robert Burns Trophy: Robin McGuire, Kirkhill Golf Club (303)
  • David Gemmell Trophy: David Courtney, Turnberry (67)
  • Stableford: Jordan Kelly, Drongan (43)
