Ayr United will host Premiership opposition and lower league clubs in the upcoming Viaplay Cup group stages.
The draw for the round robin group stage was made earlier today, June 8, with the Honest Men drawn in group A.
Lee Bullen's side will play St Johnstone, Alloa Athletic, Stirling Albion and Stenhousemuir, with games to be played throughout July.
First place from each group will qualify for the next round of the competition, alongside the best performing second place sides with the most points.
Full fixture lists and dates will be announced in due course.
