A 19-year-old man who died following a crash near Ballantrae can now be named as local man Adam Smith.
The incident happened around 12.40am on Sunday, May 14, on the A77 and involved a Blue Ford Fiesta.
Sergeant Stewart Taylor, from Irvine’s Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Adam at this difficult time.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed the crash or who may have information which can assist, and who has not already spoken to officers to get in touch.
“I would also appeal to anyone with dash-cam footage to contact us.”
