South Ayrshire's Provost marked International Workers' Memorial Day (IWMD) with the planting of a cherry tree at Ayr's Rozelle House.
IWMD takes places annually around the world on April 28 and is a day of remembrance and action for workers killed, disabled, injured or made unwell by their work.
