A Troon restaurant has won big with a special honour at the 15th Scottish Curry Awards 2023.
The prestigious awards ceremony, at The Marriot Hotel in Glasgow on Tuesday, celerated the best curry houses and chefs across the country,
The awards recognised excellence in a range of categories, including Chef of the Year, Voter’s Best Choice Restaurant of the Year, Curry King or Queen and Curry Restaurant of the Year.
The popular 3idiots in Troon was presented with the Special Recognition Award, with staff from the venue going up to collect the gong on stage.
A spokesperson said: "We are delighted to share that 3idiots Troon is now an award winning restaurant.
"In our short six months since opening our small restaurant has boomed!
"We would like to thank all of our customers for supporting and voting for us and most of all our amazing team at 3idiots Troon for all of their hard work and effort."
