Big names from hit TV drama series Guilt have been lined up for this month's Ayrshire Film Festival.

Neil Forsyth, the Scottish screenwriter, author, and journalist, along with Kieran Parker, the Scottish film producer, will be attending the Ayrshire College event on Friday, May 26.

The event is set to showcase some of the best contemporary films from Scotland and around the world.

Forsyth, who is best known for his work on the hit BBC series 'Guilt,' will also be there to promote the final series of the show.

Guilt is a dark comedy-drama about two brothers who accidentally run over and kill an old man, and then try to cover up the crime.

The first series was a hit with audiences and critics alike and the third and final series has just been released.

In addition to Guilt, Forsyth has also worked on a number of other successful TV shows and films, including Bob Servant, Drunk History, and Eric, Ernie and Me.

He has also written several books, including Let's Talk About Love: Why Other People Have Such Bad Taste, which was shortlisted for the Scottish Book of the Year award.

Parker, who is the founder of production company Black Camel Pictures, has worked on a number of successful films, including Outpost, Outpost: Black Sun, and Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan.

He is also the producer of 'Guilt,' and has worked closely with Forsyth on the series.

The Ayrshire Film Festival will be a great opportunity for fans of Scottish cinema to meet two of the industry's most talented and successful figures.

It will also be the chance for Forsyth and Parker to showcase their latest work, and to talk about their experiences working in the film and TV industry.

Beginning as a showcase student film festival for Ayrshire College media students, the festival has now expanded to include entries from students across Scotland.

It will feature screenings of shortlisted films nominated for awards at the festival.

An Ayrshire College spokesperson said: "It will be great to see such talented individuals as Neil Forsyth and Kieran Parker attending and promoting their latest projects.

"We can't wait to see what they have in store for us in the future."
