A 62-year-old man will be reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with an alleged assault and theft in the Barns Park area of Ayr.
The incident, which took place on Friday, March, 24, sparked an appeal from police who released CCTV images of the man.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Thank you to everyone who shared our previous appeal."
