The Organist Entertains is returning for a 13th series of Monday lunchtime organ concerts in Ayr.

Each concert starts at 12 noon and lasts for about an hour, with admission costing only £5.

The concert on Monday, May 1 will be in Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Fullarton Street, Ayr, and played by Archie Thom, former organist there.

It will be a programme dedicated to the late Alastair Ritchie, who sang in the choir and was for many years the membership secretary of Ayr Arts Guild.

After the Coronation Bank Holiday Monday, May 8, there will be three concerts in St Columba Parish Church.

The series of more than 30 Monday lunchtime concerts is arranged by the Royal Burgh of Ayr Organist, Matthew Hynes, with support from Ayr Arts Guild.

From Monday, June 5, the concerts will feature the superb Lewis pipe organ in Ayr Town Hall.
