FOUR people charged in connection with the murder of a woman in Ayr have returned to court.
Ayr residents Jason Bell, 49, Dee Black, 40, Ryan Hill, 25, and Michelle Ramage, 41, appeared at the town's sheriff court from custody for a second hearing.
All four are accused of having murdered Susan Turner in Ayr last month and of allegedly attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
Mr Bell, Ms Black and Ms Ramage also face charges under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
The four accused made their first court appearance on April 6, when they made no plea or declaration and were committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
All four were brought back to court on April 14, when they were fully committed to face the charges.
No pleas were entered and the accused were again remanded in custody.
They are due to face the charges at the High Court at a date yet to be confirmed.
The body of 41-year-old Miss Turner was found a flat in the town's Nursery Hall, at around 10.15am on Monday, March 27.
