A MAN has appeared in court accused of sexually assaulting a woman at Ayr's sheriff court.
Lee Nicol, 28, is accused of touching and seizing the woman's buttocks over her clothing during the alleged incident at the Wellington Square building on May 3 last year.
The accused, who was represented by defence solicitor John Gallagher, pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared from custody on Wednesday, April 5.
Mr Nicol, whose address was listed in court papers as care of HMP Kilmarnock, will return to court at a later date.
