Rare Cannonball supercars will be on display at the award-winning Glenapp Castle on Monday, April 3.

Arriving at Glenapp Castle at 1pm, the cars will line up in front of the castle for a photograph and a coffee in the Azalea – the hotel’s new glasshouse restaurant, before catching the ferry back to Ireland in the afternoon.

Spectators and families can get up close, meet the drivers and take pictures before the gleaming convoy.

Jill Chalmers, managing director of Glenapp Castle, said: "We are thrilled to be hosting Cannonball supercars at the hotel and to play our part in supporting such a worthy charitable cause."

The Cannonball supercar fraternity is a registered company specialising in event management. It was established in Ireland by Kildare businessman Alan Bannon in 2008, and has so far raised more than €1 million for various charities.
