Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are undertaking street lighting improvements on the A77 in Girvan.
The work to renew the lighting columns and underground cabling will take place from Tuesday, April 11 until Friday, May 5, between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm, each day from Monday to Friday only.

Amey has said that the scheme, with a value of £110,000, will benefit around 4,500 vehicles using this route each day, by improving the performance and reliability of the street lighting at this location and reducing the need for unplanned maintenance visits.

The work will be carried out utilising temporary daytime traffic signals installed at locations at Henrietta Street, Kirkpatrick Street, and Knockcushan Street.
Single lane closures will be implemented, as well as the use of unrestricted parking laybys.
