A PROPOSAL to develop a 60-bedroom care home in Prestwick has been lodged with South Ayrshire Council.
The documents submitted by Northcare Scotland Ltd, a family run care home business, reveals plans for the 60 bedroom and 23 assisted living flats as well as a community garden at a site which was formally part of Prestwick's St Cuthbert Golf Club.

A public consultation event will take place on Wednesday, May 3 and Wednesday May 24 at St Cuthbert's Golf Club between 2 and 7pm.
South Ayrshire Council will now consider the application.
