A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an incident in Ayr in January.
Police had appealed for anyone who had seen a seen a man they believed they could help them with an ongoing investigation.
No further details of the investigation were provided, but the incident happened at around 2.10am on Monday, January 30, 2023 in Turners Brig underpass, between Blackfriars Walk and Content Street, Ayr.
Now police have confirmed that a 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this incident.
He has been released on an undertaking to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court at a later date.
