Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are undertaking the essential removal of dangerous and diseased trees on the A77.
The scheme forms part of the company's Tree and Woodland Maintenance Management Strategy where we are taking essential steps to combat the effects of Ash Dieback along Ayr's road network.

It benefits vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety of the carriageway and reducing the risk that diseased trees pose to road users.
Work will take place under an offside lane closure on the Bankfield Roundabout from 7pm on Friday, March 24 until 6am on Saturday, March 25.
