THE team at Specsavers Ayr has recently unveiled a brand new store refit, set to improve the customer experience and increasing capacity for testing.

The improvements at the Specsavers store, located on the town’s High Street, include refitting of the entire store amd installing a new testing room and diagnostic room with new equipment to help provide the very best customer service and eyecare.

The latest additions in equipment include a second OCT (optical coherence tomography) machine, which can take detailed scans of the back of the eye and helps detect eye conditions, including glaucoma, up to four years earlier than traditional methods.

The addition of the new testing room brings the store’s total to seven, as well as a dedicated audiology testing room, allowing the store to increase the capacity of in-store clinics and eye tests.
