A PRESTWICK pub has been vandalised in an apparent overnight break-in.
The Red Lion at the town's The Cross took to Facebook to share the news of the incident that occured on Friday, February 27.
Pictures reveal the extent of the damage, with a window smashed in and puggy machines destroyed.
The Red Lion's Facebook post said: "Sorry folks.
"We were broken into last night.
"Hope they enjoy their ill gotten gains.
"We’ll be open for midday but we can’t open for breakfast.
"If any local window company is able to fix this for us ASAP we’d love you forever."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a break-in at licensed premises at Prestwick Cross shortly after 10am on Saturday, 25 February.
“The incident happened sometime over the previous night and enquiries are ongoing.”
