A NEW owner is being sought for a prominent building in the centre of Ayr.
The "investment property", at the south end of High Street, has been advertised on the website of TSA Property.
Covering 2,214 square feet, the property covers the basement, ground and first floor of the building, located next to the town's Stewart Travel branch.
Since January 9, it has been home to a branch of the Black Rooster restaurant, which offers a range of dishes from fried chicken and burgers to Mexican food.

The Black Rooster restaurant itself is not up for sale.
The online listing says the property has been "let to Black Rooster Peri Peri", with a passing rent of £32,000 per annum and a fixed increase to £35,000 a year.
According to the listing, the lease expires on July 8, 2036.
