AYR United could be in for an Ayrshire derby as the Scottish Cup progresses.
The Honest Men saw their name drawn out of the hat to face East Ayrshire side Darvel or Falkirk in last night's Scottish Cup quarter-final draw.
Darvel went on to suffer a 5-1 loss at the hands of Falkirk, meaning Ayr will travel to the Falkirk Stadium for the last eight tie on the weekend of March 11.
Following tonight’s result at Recreation Park, we will travel to the Falkirk Stadium to face @FalkirkFC in the Quarter-Final of the @ScottishCup

Scotland's national stadium Hampden could then see Ayr Utd take on arch-rivals Kilmarnock in a mouth-watering semi-final tie - if Kilmarnock get past Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The other quarter-final ties will see Hearts take on Celtic at Tynecastle, while Rangers will play host to Raith Rovers.
Ayr's extra-time win over Elgin City in Saturday's fifth round tie saw the Honest Men reach the quarter-finals for the first time since 2016-17, when Ian McCall's men saw off Brechin City, Queen's Park and Clyde before falling to a 3-1 defeat against Hibernian at Easter Road.
