A MAN was arrested after he was allegedly caught with a weapon in Alexandria.
The 25-year-old was reportedly found by cops on Queen Street around 2.40pm on Saturday (January 28) with the weapon.
Police Scotland has confirmed that no one was injured as a result.
A witness told the Reporter that he was seen walking with an axe.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.40pm on Saturday, January 28, officers received a report of a man with a weapon on Queen Street, Alexandria.
“There were no reports of injuries.
“A 25-year-old man was traced nearby a short time later. He has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court."
