A spokesperson said: "On Saturday morning we were saddened to discover some of our play equipment has been vandalised, due to the damage a small section within Adventure Cove will be closed for repair works.

"Instances like this are really disheartening for the staff at the property.

"The whole team are working hard including clearing up after recent storm damage so when things like this happen it can be frustrating.

"Please remember that the NTS is a charitable organisation who prides itself in being accessible to families who make the most out of this play area."
