A FACEBOOK video has shown the horrifying moment a car burst into flames in Ayr on Tuesday.
In the video a car is shown on fire in the town's Station Road while firefighters rush to put out the flames after a crash involving two vehicles.
Police Scotland said a 55-year-old man had been arrested as a result of the incident
The video was taken by Glasgow resident Graeme Leggat who was driving through Ayr when the incident occurred.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers attended a report of a crash involving two vehicles which happened around 11am on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in Station Road, Ayr.
"A 55-year-old man has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences."
