THE BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra is to return to Ayr this month.
The Glasgow-based orchestra will be headed by internationally renowned Austrian-Spanish conductor Teresa Riveiro Böhm.
Dutch violin soloist Rosanne Philippens will also be in attendance to play Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No.2.
In the second half, the orchestra will play Schubert's Symphony No.5.

The concert is supported by Destination South Ayrshire and Ayr Arts Guild, with the concert marking the start of their Golden Jubilee year as the Guild was founded in 1973.
Free tickets have been allocated to young musicians from local schools in celebration of the concert.
Tickets will be also be on sale on the door.
The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra returns to Ayr Town Hall at 7.30pm on Friday, January 20.
