A TROON youth football team has raised money for a local charity and for their own trip to Spain by taking a dip in Troon beach.
Troon FC 2006s, who play their home matches at Troon's Marr College in the 2022-23 WOSYFL Under-18 league, have been raising money through a series of fundraisers over the past year.
More recently over the festive period, the boys braved the cold, rain and freezing waters to take a dip into Troon Beach to raise money for Ayr charity Whiteleys Retreat.
