A MAN has died after falling ill while driving.
Police were called to the Raith Interchange at around 7.50am this morning following a report of a crash involving a single car after the driver took unwell.
The 51-year-old man was taken to Hairmyres Hospital following the incident.

He was pronounced dead a short time later and his next of kin have been made aware.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving a single vehicle after a driver apparently took unwell at the Raith Interchange around 7.50am on Wednesday, December 7.
"The 51-year-old man was taken to Hairmyres Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
"His next of kin has been made aware and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
