Trump Turnberry has earned global acclaim with a trio of honours at the ninth annual World Golf Awards.

The South Ayrshire resort was named both Scotland and Europe’s ‘Best Golf Hotel’, while the Turnberry Lighthouse won the crown of World’s ‘Best Halfway House’ at the World Golf Awards.

Hosted at the Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island resort in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday evening, the World Golf Awards reward excellence in the golf tourism market.
