A heartbroken New Cumnock man is appealing for help in tracing his wallet he says was stolen from his workplace.
Scott McPike, who lives in New Cumnock but is originally from Ayr, said his wallet went missing at his work at SCS in Kilmarnock.
The wallet has an incredible sentimental value, as it features a picture of Scott's daughter Mia, who he sadly lost back in May.
Scott and partner, Laura have pleaded with anyone with information about the wallet's whereabouts to contact them, so they can have the precious memory of their loving daughter back.
The wallet was gifted to Scott from Laura on Mia's behalf as an early Father's Day gift.
Scott says he is not fussed about the contents of the wallet, but he just wants to be reunited with the wallet because of the connection he has to it.
Bank card transactions show that the wallet has been used in Kilmarnock's Tesco and Iceland stores.
In a Facebook post searching for help in finding it, Scott said: "My wallet was stolen from inside my work today [Monday, November 14] in SCS in Kilmarnock.
"I could [not] care less about the bank cards or anything in it but I was given the wallet as a gift from Laura from Mia before she passed away and I cherish it more than anything.
"Bank cards have been used in Tesco and Iceland in Kilmarnock since being stolen as well so if anyone comes across it then please let me know".
Scott says that no updates have been provided about its whereabouts as of yet.
Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
