POLICE have confirmed an Ayr woman reported missing yesterday (Saturday) has been traced safe and well.
Ayrshire Police issued a public appeal this morning (Sunday) for information on Helen Roper.
The 43-year-old was last seen at around 11.30pm on November 12, in the town's Nelson Street.
She is described as 5ft 2ins, and of medium build. When last seen she was wearing a black wig, a baseball cap, a black hoodie, black jeans and black trainers.
Inspector Paul Richmond said: “Concerns are growing for Helen’s welfare and I am asking anyone who has seen her or knows where she might be to get in touch.
“If you are out and about in the town please keep a look out for her and contact us if you see her.”
An update from police today said: "We can confirm that Helen Roper, 43, reported missing from Ayr, has been traced safe and well.
"Thank you to everyone who shared and responded to our appeal."
