AN Ayr chippy has poked fun at departing Prime Minister Liz Truss.
Truss spent just 45 days in office before resigning last week, making her the shorted serving Prime Minister in history.
And Fort Street fish and chip shop Marcos has made fun of the situation, mocking up a hilarious photoshop of Liz working the fryer.
A Facebook post said: "Meet the new fryer Lizz.
"Recently redudant and came in and asked for a job.
"So we gave her a trial shift.
"Wonder if she'll last long."
Marcos posted an update on how the new role is going, saying: "Update: she only lasted the 45 minutes before she called it quits"
