Two Troon hostelries have been crowned amongst the Best in Scotland at the Scottish Bar & Pub Awards 2022.
Crowning the nation’s most loved pubs, the prestigious event in Glasgow saw more than two dozen venues and individuals pick up the coveted awards from up and down the country.
And there was double delight for Troon The Fox took home New Bar of the Year while The Lido took home the Cocktail Bar of the Year award.

Ayrshire's very own Colin Blair, who heads popular hospitality group Buzzworks, also took home the DRAM Lifetime Achievement Award at the event.
Colin said: “I am absolutely over the moon and humbled to receive such a prestigious accolade which reflects all of the incredible hard work put in by all of those involved in our family business.
“It is an honour to be recognised for our achievements and to see our business continue to flourish even after a challenging few years.
"I can’t wait to see what else the future holds for Buzzworks.”
The Lido and The Fox have both been approached for comment.
Event organiser Susan Young added: “It’s been another incredible year for the annual Scottish Bar and Pub Awards as we’ve recognised some of the most creative, hard-working and beloved venues in the country.
"Following a difficult few years for the licensed trade, it’s fantastic to see so many venues dedicate their time to staff training, inventive menus and new initiatives."
