THE DUNDONALD Highland Games returned in fine style last weekend, with fantastic weather.
A Games spokesperson said on Facebook: “Massive thanks go to everyone involved for making the 33rd Dundonald Highland Games such an outstanding success, starting with our brilliant chieftain Isabel McGuffie, beautiful Queen and Attendants, Brianne, Lily and Kenna-Marie and handsome junior chieftain Lochie.
“Thanks to all the pipe bands who took part including Troon Blackrock Pipe Band, East Kilbride Pipe Band, Johnstone Pipe Band, Renfrewshire Schools and not to forget Highland Thistle all the way from Argentina.
“Thank you to all the Highland Dancers, the Heavies and to all the competitors in our various events.
Thank you to Dundonald Castle & Visitor Centre and Dundonald Bowling Club for continued suppor and our patrons and sponsors as well as the 1st Dundonald Boys Brigade and 48th Ayrshire Dundonald Scouts.”
