Prestwick's annual music festival 'Prestfest' is coming back for its 10th year next month - and the celebratory event will be spread over three days with a massive schedule planned.
This year, more than 150 acts from Ayrshire and beyond will be featured in 10 venues, including two days of open-air concerts at Boydfield Gardens.
Prestfest will take place on September 2, 3 and 4 and will feature a pop-up comedy club for the first time ever, as well as top tribute acts, cover bands and original artists.
Some of the acts that will be performing at Boydfield Gardens on September 4 are The Rising - the UK's No.1 tribute to Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Absolute Jam - The Jam's cover band, and Just Beatles, Scotland's home-grown ensemble of musicians who will perform their spectacular critically acclaimed show that gives you a concert experience of pure Beatles’ nostalgia.
A spokesperson for the festival said: "The hard-working Prestfest committee would like to thank all of their sponsors for their support, especially South Ayrshire Council, Destination Ayrshire and the Lotto Community Fund whose help has made this year’s festival possible."
