A man has been taken to hospital after a car flipped on its roof close to Ayr fire station today (July 27).
The 76-year-old man was taken to University Hospital Ayr after police attened the crash on Station Road.
His condition is currently unknown.
The road is not fully clear as recovery of the vehicle continues, with officers still at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 11.45am on Wednesday, 27 July, police were called to a report of a road crash on Station Road, Ayr. Officers attended and a 76-year-old man was taken to Ayr Hospital."
