Ayrshire community fire stations are actively looking for on-call firefighters.
The teams, including those at Troon and Maybole, are formally adopting the term ‘On-Call’ to further describe their Retained and Volunteer Duty System Firefighters. They carry a pager and respond whenever needed to protect their communities.
Now they are actively seeking people from all walks of life to become an On-Call Firefighter.

Also feel free to ask any crew members about what’s involved within the role as a firefighter or ask to come to station.
New Cumnock, Mauchline, Muirkirk, Stewarton and Newmilns fire stations are all currently seeking new recruits as well.
