Police had to respond earlier today, May 28, following reports that a car crashed into a building on Prestwick Main Street.
The road was shut off as officers responded to the reports at around 12.40pm.
Images from the scene appear to show a car stuck in the entrance area of Savers health and beauty store on the street.
The vehicle appears to have mounted the pavement before coming to a halt at the shop's front doors.
Reports suggest that at least three emergency vehicles were on the scene at the time of the crash.
Police officers have been diverting traffic away from Main Street, and the road will be closed until further notice.
