Ayr’s St John’s Primary were crowned the winners of the South Ayrshire Euroquiz heats for the third year in a row.
The bright young things will now go on to compete in the Euroquiz finals in Edinburgh at Holyrood on June 13.
The runners-up were Glenburn Primary.
The P6 competition took place online this year and Alloway Primary, Barassie Primary, Crosshill Primary, Doonfoot Primary, Heathfield Primary, Kincaidston Primary, St Patrick’s Primary and St Ninian’s primary also took part.
Pupils had to answer questions on geography, history and general knowledge as well as complete listening and reading tasks in German, Spanish, Italian and French.
The Scottish Educational Trust SEET has been running the Euroquiz since 1993.
