A713 outside of Ayr Hospital (Google Maps)
Two vehicles crashed on the road outside of Ayr Hospital, causing the road to be closed this morning.
Parts of the road were closed and traffic was moving slowly after two cars collided at around 7.30am on the B713 this morning.
It appears that nobody was seriously injured in the incident.
Eyewitnesses claimed they could see extensive damage to the front of one car, with lesser damage to the other.
Police were called to the scene and the vehicles were moved and the road was cleared.
A spokesperson confirmed: "Officers were called to a report of a two vehicle crash on the A713 outside Ayr Hospital around 7.30am on Thursday 14 April 2022.
"The vehicles were uplifted and the road cleared."
