Ayr Racecourse
Ayr Racecourse and Western House Hotel have pledged to raise a further £25,000 to support their partner charity, Ayrshire Cancer Support.
The support will go towards the charity’s proposed new cancer support centre for children, young people and adults.
They have pledged to fund the Drop-in Hub within the centre, which will be a welcoming space for anyone living with, or affected by cancer to drop in and talk to support staff from ACS or others in a similar situation as themselves.
The charity recently launched the innovative funding scheme, in an urgent bid to raise funds to carry out the extensive building work required.
The centre will be the first of its kind in Ayrshire and will provide unique care.
