Baby Max
This wee bonny baby was the first of the year to be born at an Ayrshire maternity ward.
Staff at Ayrshire Maternity Unit at University Hospital Crosshouse welcomed their first baby of 2022 early in the morning of January 1.
Baby Max was born at 6.11am, weighing 8lb 14oz.
A son for Lisa and Alan McConville, from Symington, and a brother for sister Macy (4).
Huge congratulations to all the family from all of us at the Ayr Advertiser. And many thanks to the hospital staff.
