Ayr Roads Cycling Club/Harry Fairbairn BMW members made the long trip to Isle of Mull for the annual Santacross fancydress Cyclocross race a fortnight ago
Mother and son duo Aileen and Iain Fisher were in full festive attire and battled through the wet muddy conditions in the two day event.
On the Saturday, captain Aileen chalked up her first win of the season in the female over 50’s category and 13th overall.
Iain also had a good day securing his first top 10 of the season and coming eighth overall.
On the Sunday, he then produced a great performance to finish fourth overall and was only five seconds off a podium finish.
Meanwhile, Aileen secured another win in the V50 female category.
More recently, the club competed in the annual Cyclists v Harriers race at Irvine at the weekend.
Aileen continued her fine run of form winning first place in the female over 40 category.
Her team mate, Alex McAllister, came first in the male over 60’s category.
